Blue Oxer Riding Academy

Customized Training

If you've found yourself with a young horse, a difficult horse, or horse who needs a show ring tuneup, there truly is a trainer who can work as your partner.  Emily Brinkman is committed to spending time to start and train each horse correctly, taking into consideration their unique ability and maturity. Emily also understand that clear communication with each client by being accessible, providing weekly progress reports via email and high-quality videos as needed.

"I work very hard to keep my horses comfortable in their own skin, helping them gain confidence as they progress.  I pride myself in riding them consistently and quietly, thus helping them to feel relaxed and willing."

Blue Oxer Boarding

Blue Oxer at Cold Spring Farm provides professional supervision and care of your horse.  The little things like high quality hay, grain, and bedding are big things with us.  Horses are fed three times a day. Horses are turned out up to seven hours a day in group or individual pastures. Stalls are cleaned three times daily.  The so called extras like blanketing and nutritional advice are also included.  Need a farrier or a veterinarian?  We coordinate visits from the best in the Mid-West.

As a Blue Oxer boarder, your lessons may be purchased at an reduced rate. A big perk for that successful riding career.
As a Blue Oxer boarder, you may simply join us for a trail ride on private property or nearby state land.  See the four-season beauty of Northwest Michigan at Cold Spring Farm.
Whether your need is for training, lessons, or boarding, let Blue Oxer Equestrian Services help you meet it. Call 231.649.1527 for stall availability.
